Mark your calendars for a weekend like no other – Saturday, September 13, and Sunday, September 14, will transport you back in time to a dazzling 1860s Fall Fair Weekend at Upper Canada Village. 

But wait, there’s more! This will be the last weekend of programming, so you won’t want to miss a single moment of the magic!

Perfect For All Ages

You’ll get to see farm animals, agricultural and dairy products, vegetables, flowers, and fine arts. And don’t miss our Village Fair treats! Fresh apples and cider will all be available.

Join in the old fashioned fun and games, plus musical and magic shows which promise to entertain the whole family.

It’s Your Chance to Shine

Public entries are welcome. Participate in the excitement of a wonderfully re-created 1860s Fall Fair. Enter your fine art, preserves, handwork, vegetables and other items using 1860s fair categories and rules as a guideline. 

All entries must be registered by 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at the Fair Tent.

All Day & Morning Activities

  • 9:30am – 5pm | Exhibits of agricultural, horticultural and historical products, domestic manufactures and ladies’ work in the Floral Hall (tent)
  • 9:30am – 5pm | Quilt Show, featuring quilts made in celebration of Upper Canada Village’s 50th and 60th anniversary quilts. On display in Christ Church
  • 10am – 5pm | Quilting Bee at Ross House
  • 11:15am – 12pm | Music at Cook’s Tavern
  • 11:30pm – 12:15 pm | Magician, medicine man and illusionist Steve Baker

Afternoon Activities

  • 12:30pm – 1pm  | President’s Opening Remarks followed by a performance of the Brass Band
  • 1pm – 2pm | Performance of Traditional Mohawk Song and Dance by the Rise Up Singers and Dancers
  • 2pm – 3pm | Horse and Cattle Show in show ring
  • 2pm – 2:45pm | Magician, medicine man and illusionist Steve Baker
  • 2:15pm – 3pm | Brass Band by Crysler Hall
  • 2:45pm – 3:30pm | Children’s games and races
  • 3:45pm – 4:30pm | Magician, medicine man and illusionist Steve Baker

Events take place in the fairgrounds unless otherwise indicated.
